Stephen M. Raffle, M.D., a board certified forensic psychiatrist, has been providing psychiatric evaluations and expert testimony in Federal and California jurisdiction for 36 years, working with legal counsel, employers, insurers, and judges, in addition to his active clinical practice. Dr. Raffle's interest in forensic psychiatry began with a program at Boalt Hall, School of Law, University of California, Berkeley in 1972 on law and psychiatry. His interests and experience brought him full circle, and he went on to teach attorneys in the Hastings Law School post-graduate course on Trial and Appellate Advocacy for 11 years, instructing on the direct and cross-examination of expert witnesses.
